Giving Ireland 2022 Arts Subsector

Giving Ireland 2022 report tells us that fundraised income decreased by 17% overall in 2020, with the Arts subsector experiencing the largest decrease in total income by 25%.

The sector’s total income during 2020 was €20.92 billion. Overall, total income decreased by 5%, reflecting the negative impact of Covid-19 on the sector. Around 30% of nonprofit organisations experienced financial losses during the year. The greatest decreases in income were experienced by the Arts.
